The role is a hands-on engineering leadership position focused on designing, building, and guiding intelligent workflow orchestration and ERP automation systems, with opportunities to influence the technology and innovation strategy of the firm. Responsibilities
Build backend services and APIs that power autonomous and semi-autonomous workflows. Lead the architecture, design, and full-stack development of scalable and responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies (React/Angular, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, MUI, Tailwind) integrated with secure backend systems. Use agentic frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, etc.) to coordinate multi-step logic, tool usage, and human review workflows. Integrate with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, D365, etc.) and handle authentication, schema mapping, rate limits, and retries. Design and optimize workflows for asynchronous processing, streaming updates, and long-running tasks using distributed job queues. Support frontend engineers by designing endpoints and, occasionally, contributing UI components in React/TypeScript. Contribute to system observability: logs, traces, metrics, and monitoring. Design and manage efficient database schemas across relational (SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented team environment. Lead end-to-end engagement leadership and program delivery oversight for complex, multi-workstream initiatives; establish governance and risk controls; coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors; manage executive relationships to drive alignment and timely, on-budget outcomes. Required Skills
10+ years in full-stack or backend-focused software engineering roles Proficiency in Python Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks in production environments Deep experience integrating with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Dynamics 365, including REST/SOAP APIs and schema mapping Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases Experience deploying and maintaining LLM-integrated systems, including prompt engineering and API integrations (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Anthropic) and toolchains/fallback strategies Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) Experience writing tests for backend services and API layers Ability to design for resilience and observability in distributed systems Familiarity with Dockerized deployments and CI-integrated release pipelines Willingness to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs Leadership experience overseeing complex programs and cross-functional teams Experience scaling service offerings, enabling go-to-market growth, and mentoring talent Experience building and leading high-performing teams, with focus on talent development and delivery excellence Preferred Skills
Passion for enterprise automation and real-world AI applications Experience building agent workflows or orchestration engines Pragmatic problem solver who thrives in iterative environments Azure certifications or similar technical certifications DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (IaC) Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools Strong mentoring, documentation, and knowledge-sharing capabilities Additional Details
