B2B Outside Sales Representative (Hunter Role)

About the Role Our client is seeking a driven, results-oriented B2B Outside Sales Representative with a hunter mentality to generate new B2B accounts. This role focuses on identifying, pursuing, and closing new commercial cleaning contracts with small to mid-sized businesses, facility managers, property managers, schools, medical offices, manufacturing plants, and similar industries.
You will be the face of our client in the field—building relationships, conducting walkthroughs of customer facilities, and delivering customized proposals that solve client facility maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities
5 – 7 appointments will be booked for you (However, additional, self-generated appointments will be required – commissions are higher on closing self-generated appointments)
Identify and research potential clients through cold calling, door-to-door visits, LinkedIn, email outreach, and networking.
Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads using CRM tools.
Schedule meetings, walkthroughs, and service demonstrations with decision-makers.
Conduct in-person site evaluations to determine cleaning needs and collect scope details.
Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotes, and service agreements.
Negotiate contract terms and close new commercial cleaning accounts.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets (KPIs).
Relationship Development
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (owners, facility managers, operations managers, property managers).
Hand off closed accounts smoothly to operations and customer success teams.
Follow up post-sale to ensure client satisfaction and encourage referrals.
Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM (leads, meetings, proposals, contracts).
Provide weekly reports on pipeline, activities, and closed business.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
Qualifications Required
1–3 years of B2B sales experience (facility services, janitorial, commercial services, or similar preferred).
Strong hunter mentality—comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and self-generating leads.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Preferred
Experience selling service-based contracts (cleaning, maintenance, staffing, HVAC, pest control, etc.).
Familiarity with CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
Knowledge of commercial buildings, facility needs, and janitorial contract structures.
