Oversee day‑to‑day non‑clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience. Serve as a full‑time certified pharmacy technician. Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and support pharmacists under supervision. Supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers while adhering to company policies and regulations. Lead the selection, scheduling, development, and performance management of pharmacy technicians, including training, coaching, discipline, and termination decisions. Engage customers by greeting them, resolving complaints, and providing non‑clinical assistance to enhance the customer experience. Assist pharmacists with patient registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, counting, and verification (where allowed by law). Support healthcare services such as vaccines and screenings. Exercise independent judgment to delegate, direct, and assign non‑clinical work, ensuring tasks are completed on time and workflow is efficient. Prepare and file required reports and records for the company and government agencies. Manage pharmacy workflow, coordinate daily schedules, recommend pharmacy hour allocation, and maintain a clean and well‑stocked pharmacy. Maintain compliance with inventory management, annual inventory preparation, and equipment operation and maintenance. Adhere to Good Faith Dispensing Policy, company asset‑protection techniques, and diversion monitoring, reporting any concerns to the Pharmacy Manager. Communicate prescription errors and related quality improvement activities to the accountable pharmacist. Process insurance claims, resolve reimbursement issues, and conduct third‑party audits. Support Store Manager and Pharmacy Manager in analyzing pharmacy financials, operational quality, and customer service. Coordinate community outreach, immunization clinics, and community events, building relationships with retail partners. Leverage Walgreens online verification systems to track licensure status of technicians and pharmacists. Ensure proper record‑keeping, security safeguards, and policy adherence across the pharmacy department. Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico). At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or hospital setting. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (where required). Preferred Qualifications

Previous people‑management or leadership experience. Previous experience working at Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation performance evaluation.
