The Department of Family and Community Services, Division of Departmental Support Services, is recruiting for a full-time Accountant 4 in Anchorage or Juneau, Alaska. This job class uses Competency Based minimum qualifications (MQs). Please read the Competency Based MQ instructions below to learn more. What You Will Be Doing

Are you an experienced accountant looking to join a new, dynamic team? The Department of Family and Community Services is recruiting to fill an Accountant 4 within our Finance Unit. If Cost Allocation and Federal reporting are strengths or areas you want to learn, this is the position for you. Responsibilities include: Administration of the department’s public assistance cost allocation plan Adherence to federal regulations and ensuring the integrity of the allocation processes Serving as the Cost Allocation specialist for the department Prepare the Title IV-E federal reports Qualifications and Qualities

Some positions may require a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field and/or a CPA. The requirement will be noted in the recruitment posting. Additional Required Information
