Manage on‑site engineering resources related to services such as laboratory, RMAS, airworthiness and configuration management. Develop engineering standards and tools, and contribute to homogenising processes across three design offices to ensure a high level of service performance. Be accountable for the knowledge‑management process at all stages of the product life cycle. Oversee engineering tools such as CAD, PLM, CFD, or customised tools. Identify, create or update procedures and instructions with the help of the extended engineering team. Contribute to the skills‑strategy definition and its deployment. Represent the Local Engineering Director and handle duties including, but not limited to: manage engineering‑services allocation, sizing and skills based on needs and priorities. Conduct technical review and approval of engineering reports from teams. Define and update the local engineering department budget in coordination with the engineering director and local management. Measure department performance through indicators and implement improvement plans in accordance with targets. Build and deploy the improvement plan established in coordination with the engineering‑management board. Qualifications
Education: BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering (MS in Engineering a plus). Experience: Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in an aerospace environment. Technical skills: General mechanics, dependability (FMEA, fault trees, etc.), aeronautical development standards and regulations; desirably electronics, airworthiness, 6‑sigma qualification. Soft skills: Listening, leadership, humility, autonomy, engagement, creativity, synthesis, diplomacy, open collective spirit, customer‑orientation. Standard management skills and working knowledge of PLM software. Literacy on Microsoft Office suite.
