Position Overview Siemens Low Voltage and Products is looking for a Distributor Sales Engineer for the Houston, TX/Southern LA markets. The successful candidate will carry a multimillion-dollar quota and will be responsible for driving stock product sales within the channel, developing and growing relationships throughout the channel partner organizations, and supporting sales, training, programs and promotions at the channel. This person will report to the Regional Channel Manager and will have no direct reports. The role is remote in the Houston, TX / Southern Louisiana markets.

Role Description Develops and implements plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty. Pursues a long‑term account strategy that maximizes profits. May identify, develop and manage channel partners to achieve channel goals. Assists in cultivating long‑term relationships with appropriate key account decision makers. Provides management with suggestions for improving volume, market share and price levels. May develop forecasts, budgets and operating plans for sales channels.

Product support includes but is not limited to: Residential Products, Safety Switches, IEC/NEMA Control, Panelboards, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway, and Motor Control Centers.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications

BS degree or equivalent experience.

3+ years of sales experience OR 5+ years of sales experience.

Travel required 20%.

Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.

Individual must be at least 21 years of age to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ year of Power distribution & Controls Product sales experience.

3+ year proficient knowledge of LV MV power distribution product line.
