What You’ll Do
Fundraising Strategy:
Manage and grow a portfolio of high‑level individual donors, foundations, businesses, and community partners.
Grant Development:
Identify, research, and secure grants that align with Peppermint Ridge’s mission, including writing compelling proposals.
Major Gifts & Planned Giving:
Lead efforts to secure major gifts, planned giving, and sponsorships for special events and initiatives.
Annual Fund Campaigns & Appeals:
Work closely with leadership to design and execute impactful annual campaigns and appeals.
Community Engagement:
Represent Peppermint Ridge at community events, fairs, and networking opportunities to cultivate donor relationships and raise awareness.
Donor Engagement:
Build and sustain deep, personal relationships with donors to ensure long‑term support.
Fundraising Reports:
Prepare and report on fundraising progress, successes, and strategic opportunities for future engagement.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of fundraising, donor development, or grant writing experience (preferably in the nonprofit sector).
Skills:
Proven success in securing major gifts and managing grants.
Strong public speaking, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
Exceptional writing skills to craft compelling donor communications and grant proposals.
Strategic, organized, and able to work independently with confidentiality and integrity.
Comfortable representing the organization in both public and private settings.
