HR Specialist
provides front-line support to employees, managers, and HR staff by addressing inquiries related to
Benefits, Compensation, Staffing, HRIS, Leave Administration, and Employee Relations . This role requires a strong focus on
customer service ,
case management , and
HR process knowledge
to ensure timely, accurate, and professional resolution of HR-related requests.
Responsibilities
Respond to employee and HR customer inquiries via phone or electronic systems, ensuring
accurate and timely case resolution . Educate employees on HR policies, procedures, and self-service tools to promote autonomy. Manage daily case and call flow using HR call management and case tracking systems. Support the consistent application of core HR processes and procedures;
coach and advise managers and staff . Maintain ownership of HR cases from creation to closure, including escalation management and resolution communication. Use HR knowledgebase and tools to deliver consistent responses to inquiries. Recommend improvements to
HR knowledgebase and portal content
based on recurring issues. Ensure compliance with record-keeping, data privacy, and
legal HR documentation requirements . Maintain professionalism and high-quality service in all communications to meet or exceed
service-level agreements (SLAs) . Participate in department meetings and process improvement initiatives. Perform various HR administrative and support tasks as assigned.
Required Experience
High School Diploma required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred . Minimum
3 years of HR experience
supporting multiple HR functional areas. Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and maintain professionalism under pressure. Strong communication,
problem-solving , and
organizational
skills. Proficient with HR systems, Microsoft Office, and call management platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
HR Certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP)
preferred. Demonstrated experience in
HR case management systems
and workflow tools. Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
