Hansen Talent Group is seeking a
Network Project Lead
to support a large agency in Columbia, SC. This position plays a key role in maintaining and upgrading the agency's enterprise network and wireless infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across statewide facilities.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering quality results in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
What You'll Do
Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network and wireless systems across state facilities. Support network connectivity for Windows, Mac, and mobile devices (including Apple). Monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues related to LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments. Conduct on-site wireless assessments, create and update coverage heatmaps using
Ekahau
tools. Perform firmware, software, and security upgrades on network devices. Manage lifecycle processes for network and wireless devices. Troubleshoot and resolve support tickets, serving as first and second-tier network support. Collaborate with network, security, and hosting teams to resolve issues and ensure system stability. Adhere to agency IT standards, documentation requirements, and change management processes. Provide timely updates on assignments, milestones, and deliverables to management. Travel statewide to assist with equipment installations, facility relocations, and network upgrades. What You Need
Experience
with
LAN, WLAN, WAN
administration and troubleshooting. Experience
with
Cisco
and
Palo Alto Firewall
administration. Experience
with
Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) . Experience using
ticketing systems
for tracking and resolution. Strong understanding of computer and network operating systems and fundamentals. Preferred Qualifications
Network certification (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+). Experience with
SolarWinds Orion
and
Ekahau Sidekick
tools.
