The Quality Engineer applies technical and problem-solving skills to ensure products and processes meet quality requirements. This role supports corrective actions, risk management, and continuous improvement across the organization and supply chain.

General Requirements Minimum Education

- Bachelor's degree preferred

Minimum Experience

- 4 years in a full-time engineering or quality-related role required. (Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred).

Job Duties

Process and Product Quality Support:

Apply quality engineering principles to ensure product and process compliance with quality standards.

Root Cause and Corrective Actions:

Lead investigations into quality issues and develop corrective action plans.

Data Analysis and Risk Management:

Analyze data, conduct risk assessments, and support FMEA and other preventive quality tools.

Supplier and Customer Support:

Work with suppliers and customers to address quality requirements and resolve issues.

Continuous Improvement:

Support initiatives that improve process capability, reduce defects, and enhance efficiency.

Skills & Abilities

Technical Problem-Solving:

Understands the necessary elements of an operator controllable process. Apply quality engineering methods and structured problem-solving to resolve complex quality issues.

Root Cause Analysis Expertise:

Use tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and FMEA to identify and prevent failures.

Data-Driven Approach:

Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to support decisions. Firm command of descriptive statistics, intermediate or above excel skills. Effectively applies SPC and MSA in a factory setting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality integration.

Standards Knowledge:

Understand ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards to ensure compliance.
