Position Title Associate Governmental Program Analyst II (Strategic Grants and Support Analyst)
Work Location Sacramento County, Hybrid (Telework up to 3 days per week; in-person minimum 2 days)

Responsibilities Under the direction of a Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst works independently and collaboratively to perform complex analytical duties and assists in developing and implementing the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative and other behavioral health initiatives. The role requires maintaining cooperative relationships with internal and external partners, including DHCS divisions, state agencies, local educational agencies, vendors, and community-based organizations. The incumbent must demonstrate strong initiative, prioritize workload, and possess excellent written and oral communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
Minimum Requirements Associate Governmental Program Analyst II Class Specification (Class Specification provides minimum qualifications).
Desirable Qualifications
Knowledge of federal and state policies for Medicare and Medicaid.
Experience developing new programs or procedures.
Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
Ability to work in a changing environment, managing competing deadlines.
Strong analytical and research skills, including recommendations to leadership.
Experience with grant development, oversight, and management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
