Base pay range $80,000/yr - $90,000/yr

Senior Accountant
to join our growing finance team in Baltimore. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with
4+ years of experience , a strong background in
multi-entity accounting , and a passion for driving accuracy in financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial statements, supporting month-end close processes, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize financial operations.
If you have experience with
ASC 842 lease accounting , that's a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
Oversee
multi-entity accounting , ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple business units.
Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
Assist in preparing
financial statements , variance analyses, and management reports.
Ensure compliance with
GAAP
and internal accounting policies.
Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and working closely with auditors.
Assist in
cash flow management , budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Stay current with accounting standards and regulations, including
ASC 842 lease accounting
(preferred).
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications
4+ years of professional accounting experience , preferably in a corporate or multi-entity environment.
Strong knowledge of
GAAP
and financial reporting principles.
Multi-entity accounting experience is required.
Proficiency in
accounting software and ERP systems
(e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Experience with
lease accounting (ASC 842)
is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.
