Onsite or Remote? Candidate must be CURRENT WI resident.
NO RELOCATION ALLOWED. Hybrid arrangement is weekly—DNR is currently 60% remote and 40% in the office, located in Madison, WI.
Hybrid requirement is weekly, not monthly.
The contractor must start on site for a five-day orientation/onboarding. Work cannot be conducted outside the United States.
Responsibilities
Primary Tasks include: Develop comprehensive project plans (scope, timeline, resources, budget); coordinate with cross-functional teams; monitor and track project progress; facilitate stakeholder meetings; ensure deliverables meet quality standards; manage project documentation; foster clear communication among team members and leadership; support change management processes; oversee project closure activities including final reporting and lessons learned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of project management and business analysis expertise, with strong technical and interpersonal skills. Required Skills and Experience
Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) and tools.
Direct experience managing large-scale IT projects with multiple technical resources and diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and tools, including data analysis, requirements gathering, and process modeling.
Experience creating technical specifications and system designs for custom application development.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to prioritize and meet project objectives.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of data analysis tools and business intelligence tools for creating reports and dashboards.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage competing demands effectively.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Familiarity with DevOps, Confluence, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.
Experience in government or public sector IT environments.
