Working Conditions Position located at 304 E 12th Street, Marysville, Yuba County 95901.
Incumbents will perform office duties in a climate‑controlled setting with artificial lighting. Periodic issues with heating and air conditioning may cause temperature fluctuations. Incumbents must be able to work at a keyboard, focus on complex tasks for long periods, and organize large volumes of work.
Fieldwork may require travel across a range of terrains and exposure to snow, rain, fog, and heat. Incumbents will wear required personal protective equipment: work boots, long‑sleeve shirts or safety vest, long pants, and safety gear (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection). Incumbents may be required to travel, walk in traffic areas, and use mandates as required by the Department.
Work hours will range from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with possible overtime on evenings and weekends. Travel throughout the district and state may be required. Overtime may be necessary during storms, emergencies, or special projects.
