Job Summary Maryville Academy is seeking a full‑time Human Resources Generalist to join their team. The Human Resources Generalist will provide expertise and support across all HR functions including recruitment, benefits administration, talent management, payroll, leave management, and data analysis. This individual must have a comprehensive understanding of HR functions and be capable of offering creative solutions to complex issues while effectively communicating with employees at all levels.
Responsibilities
Provide guidance on HR practices, policies, legislation, and regulatory requirements to employees and leaders.
Collaborate with business leaders to advise on recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, compensation, and organizational effectiveness.
Analyze data to support decision‑making based on HR metrics and trends.
Assist in talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation and benefits, and organization development.
Complete compliance reports and support audits as required.
Mentor and provide leadership to other HR team members.
Undertake additional HR tasks as needed and assigned.
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; significant recruiting experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certifications preferred.
Minimum of six (6) years of HR experience in a Business Partner or Generalist role or 3 years with a master’s degree in behavioral sciences.
Customer‑focused with strong relationship‑building skills and business acumen.
Experience with ADP Workforce preferred.
Non‑profit HR experience is a plus.
Skills / Knowledge

Visual, hearing, and learning capabilities sufficient to perform job functions.
Environment and Scheduling
Work primarily in an office setting.
Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
