Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and helping people protect their auto and home? We are looking for someone to join our team as a Licensed Inside Sales Representative. Compensation and Benefits
Starting base pay is
$28.13/hr
with an uncapped bonus plan available. Average variable compensation is roughly $2,000 per month, ranging from $2,000 to $7,000 or higher. Variable compensation grows as business expands across multiple states. American Family Insurance provides a student loan repayment program and paid‑family leave. Responsibilities
Quote and sell automobile, homeowners, and umbrella insurance products to warm leads. Follow up on missing information to close sales via phone or email. Attend and complete required ongoing training, meetings, one‑on‑ones and continuing education to maintain an active producer’s license. Demonstrate product advantages, services, and benefits while overcoming objections to purchase. Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty Producer’s License or Personal Lines License. Experience maintaining an organized, up‑to‑date pipeline of opportunities with accurate quoting. Experience prioritizing sales opportunities across multiple computer systems during a quote. Ability to explain insurance concepts and coverages to clients. Training & Work Schedule
Training lasts approximately two months, 8:30 am–5:00 pm local time. There is no time off during training. After training new hires will work evening shifts ending at 8:00 pm Monday‑Friday and 5:00 pm Saturday, with a 1 in 3 Saturday rotation. All new hires will work a 9‑hour Monday and a 7‑hour shift later in the week. The role is 80% remote; occasional travel to Denver for in‑person engagement is expected. Must hold an active P&C Producer’s License or Personal Lines. American Family Insurance pays license maintenance and CE requirements. Travel: up to 10%. Physical: primarily sitting/standing at a desk. Benefits Summary
