Licensed Inside Sales Representative – P&C
We are looking for a Licensed Inside Sales Representative to help protect people’s auto and home. You will assist clients with warm leads by providing quotes and selling all or some of our property and casualty products. This role focuses on demonstrating the advantages of our products, overcoming objections, and closing sales by phone or email.
Compensation Starting hourly pay: $28.13 – $35.09. An uncapped bonus plan is available; average variable compensation is roughly $2,000 per month, potentially up to $7,000 or higher as your sales grow in multiple states.
Primary Accountabilities
Quote and sell any or all of the following: automobile, homeowners, and umbrella insurance.
Follow up on missing information to close insurance sales via phone or email to prospective clients.
Attend required training, ongoing training, meetings, one‑on‑ones, and meet education requirements to maintain an active property‑casualty producer’s license.
Demonstrate advantages of our products, services, and benefits while overcoming objections to purchase.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience maintaining an organized and up‑to‑date pipeline of opportunities to provide accurate quotes to clients.
Experience prioritizing sales opportunities using multiple computer systems/screens during a quote.
Ability to explain insurance concepts and coverages to clients.
Licensing Requirements You must currently possess an active Property and Casualty Producer’s License or Personal Lines License to be considered.
Working Conditions
Work is 80% remote from home (4+ days per week). Occasional office visits for meetings and training may be required.
Initial training lasts approximately two months (8:30 am to 5:00 pm local time).
After training, new hires will work evening shifts ending at 8:00 pm Monday‑Friday, with one Saturday shift per week (typically 9 hrs on Monday and 7 hrs later in the week).
Travel is up to 10% of the time. Physical requirement: mainly sitting/standing.
