We're Hiring: Phlebotomist!

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in blood collection procedures, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy in laboratory specimen collection.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and identify patients according to SOP.
• Obtain billing and testing information according to SOP.
• Review test requisition for proper test collection.
• Assemble equipment necessary to collect specimens.
• Collect specimens for drug testing according to SOP and order of the draw.
• Match requisition to collection of tubes for completion.
• Centrifuge when necessary.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and quality control on test kits and urinalysis equipment.
• Prepare and package specimens for shipping to testing location according to SOP.
• Perform customer service duties including phone inquiries and patient encounters.
• Collect patient payments according to SOP.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in Phlebotomy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience, preferably in a clinical or laboratory setting.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to SOPs and quality control standards.
• Ability to perform daily operational tasks including equipment maintenance and accurate patient identification.
