What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Formulate and design specifications for complex software and programming applications
Investigate and implement solutions for clinical systems to enhance patient care and ensure compliance
Serve as a liaison between technical and business communities, communicating complex information effectively
Prepare detailed specifications for clinical solutions and document all phases of system planning
Proactively partner with customers to assess needs and assure proper system configuration
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five years of relevant experience
Sufficient educational background and/or experience to conduct clinical applications analysis
Knowledge of clinical workflows, implementation of solutions, and system adoption strategies
Experience in documenting business processes and technical analysis
Ability to manage multiple projects and provide advanced support for complex issues
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, business, or a clinically related field
Experience with Epic Beacon, Radiation Oncology, and Epic Ambulatory
Clinical informatics knowledge and experience with healthcare applications
Familiarity with third‑party vendor integration and HL7 interfaces
Project management experience with complete system life cycles
