Description As a Credit & Collections Analyst, you will assist in driving company profitability by ensuring that Credit department objectives are met on a consistent basis. Through daily activities you will manage cash posting, research short payments, conduct collections, and collaborate with Sales & Customer Service to ensure orders can be released in a timely fashion. Strong communication abilities are essential.
Responsibilities
Cash posting: wires, ACH, checks
Assist with account reviews for the purpose of monitoring and releasing outgoing orders
Communicate with customers as needed for either collection efforts or for satisfying customer requests
Work in conjunction with multiple departments for audits, orders, order corrections and documentation
Run, review and reconcile aging reports for reporting purposes
Review and approve credit invoice files for distribution or correction
Advocate for all levels of Finance during internal/external audit information collection periods and annually for external audit
Always available during month end close
Assist with any and all other credit department tasks as requested
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
2+ years of accounts receivable experience required
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Highly organized and detail‑oriented team player
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
