Job Summary
USD Sanford School of Medicine seeks a Senior Secretary to support multiple departments—including Neurosciences, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pathology, Radiology, and Surgery—by providing administrative support and coordinating clinical rotations for medical students.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of changing schedules, communicate schedule changes, and collaborate with students, faculty, and clinical partners.
Knowledge Of
- Modern office/clerical procedures and best practices
- Office equipment and software, including word, spreadsheets, and databases
Ability To
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and clinical partners
- Maintain organized and accurate records across multiple databases and spreadsheets
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Review, edit, and prepare documents for accuracy, clarity, and professionalism
- Work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Benefits

Compensation
Advertised Salary: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
