industry-leading manufacturer
seeking a
Human Resources Manager
to oversee HR operations at its
Shelbyville, Indiana
facility.
What You’ll Do You’ll serve as a key member of the plant leadership team—driving employee engagement, managing payroll and benefits, ensuring compliance, and leading recruitment and workforce development efforts. This role will play a vital part in building culture, supporting supervisors, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the go-to HR resource for employees and supervisors regarding personnel issues and policy guidance
Lead hourly and salaried recruiting efforts, onboarding, and training programs
Oversee payroll accuracy, wage compliance, and benefits administration
Ensure all HR practices meet federal, state, and local employment law requirements
Analyze HR metrics and payroll data to support planning and budgeting
Partner with plant and corporate leadership on initiatives to enhance culture, retention, and communication
Drive employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
7–10 years of HR experience , preferably in manufacturing
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification a plus
