Accounts Receivable Analyst
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an Accounts Receivable Analyst in Boca Raton, FL. This is 100% onsite and has a collaborative team culture.
Candidate Profile Open to candidates with no experience in accounting, but candidate must at least have an
associate degree in accounting completed. Bachelor degree in accounting or finance would be even better
Preferably some background in
Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable or similar accounting experience
Worksite Location : 100% Onsite in Boca Raton, FL - Monday - Friday
Type:
Contract to Hire
Temp Pay:
$21-24/hour (DOE)
Salary : $40,000-$45,000K annually - maybe some flex to $50K if candidate possesses everything listed and can pretty much work independently with minimal training.
Excel Requirement : Basic spreadsheets
Responsibilities
This role requires
strong investigative skills
especially around
cash application issues . If something doesn't post correctly, the candidate must be able to dig into the issue and repair it.
Strong problem-solving and investigative skills are essential, especially for resolving cash application discrepancies.
Responsibilities include handling banking correspondence, verifying policyholder refunds, and supporting offshore BPO teams.
While Excel proficiency is required, it's not the primary focus compared to similar roles.
Manage communications with banks
Validate system-generated refunds for insurance policyholders
Post payments into the internal policy system
Review aged accounts receivable for potential write-offs
Respond to customer service inquiries (e.g., voids, reapplications, chargebacks)
Investigate and resolve cash application errors
Address escalated issues from offshore BPO support
