The responsibilities and duties described in this job posting are meant to provide a general overview of the position. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments according to defined schedules and procedures. For assigned test ownership, the employee will lead efforts to implement and maintain Quality System procedures such as writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and contribute to process improvements. Record test results in line with method and SOP requirements using standardized forms, laboratory logbooks and/or written reports as applicable. Participate in Quality Management Program and ISO initiatives, including process improvements, procedure documentation, and training. Skills and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in science, chemistry, biology, or related field preferred. Two years of related experience in a lab testing environment preferred. Familiarity with general laboratory equipment and environment such as glassware, fume hoods, chemical handling, and storage practices. Attention to detail and accuracy. Self-starter, strong work ethics with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment. Exhibit good oral and written communication skills and professional demeanor.
