Job Overview
The Billing Coordinator supports the Finance Department in daily billing and accounting tasks. This entry‑level position is ideal for someone who has basic experience or coursework in accounting or bookkeeping and is eager to develop their skills in billing, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP). The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation, review, and submission of client invoices.
Update and maintain billing records and spreadsheets using Excel.
Support the Accounts Receivable process by tracking payments and reconciling invoices.
Assist in Accounts Payable tasks, such as processing vendor invoices and check requests.
Upload invoices and supporting documents into client or vendor systems.
Collect and organize reports from station managers and other departments.
Generate and deliver monthly and semi‑monthly invoices to clients.
Collect monthly reports from each station manager.
Perform general administrative and bookkeeping tasks as needed.
Participate in learning other financial and reporting systems as part of on‑the‑job training.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher in business analysis, business finance, administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience or internship in billing, bookkeeping, or AR/AP preferred (open to recent graduates with strong Excel and organizational skills).
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, formatting) and basic knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools.
Willingness to learn internal accounting and billing systems.
Skills & Abilities
Bilingual English and Spanish; ability to read, write, and speak fluently and professionally in both languages.
Great analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
Must be very detail‑oriented and organized.
Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands while prioritizing responsibilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.
