Senior Accountant | Growth to Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions' (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with an SMB family owned distribution firm near Blue Ash looking for a Senior Accountant. This role is open due to growth and succession planning. Ideally, this person makes their mark on the accounting/finance department and grows there to be a leader, eventually taking over direct reports. The ideal candidate is a go-getter with an eye for process improvement/automation and has 3+ years of GL accounting experience with physical inventory.
Responsibilities:
• Financial Statements
• GL Maintenance
• Month/Year End
• Learn and develop under CFO and head of Pricing
• Administer 401(k) and benefits plans
• Drive Relationships with Operational Departments
• Communicate Data with Department Heads and Problem Solve Issues
• Variance Analysis
• Journal Entries
• Reconciliations
• Process Improvement
• Look out for/improve upon accounting processes & procedures
• Ensure policy and GAAP compliance
Qualifications :
• 3+ years' progressive accounting experience required
• Manufacturing/Distribution industry experience required
• CPA preferred
• Foundation in public accounting preferred

Pay Details:
$75,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
