Additional Notes The company is at a critical stage in its growth, as the founders, who have been deeply involved in every aspect of the business, are preparing for a shift toward a more structured and scalable organization. This transition involves delegating key responsibilities in finance and administration while strengthening internal controls and improving financial visibility.

To support this evolution, the company is investing in leadership within the finance function. The Financial Controller will play a central role in professionalizing the business, building trust with ownership, and ensuring the company can sustain its growth through strong financial operations and reporting.

Role Purpose This role is designed for a finance leader who is ready to operate with independence and clarity, while earning the trust of a founder-led team. The Controller will take ownership of core financial operations and reporting, working closely with the CFO/Owner to implement a more sustainable and scalable financial structure. The person in this role must be able to work hands-on in the details while building toward a higher standard of discipline and communication. This position has the potential to evolve into a future CFO role if the individual demonstrates leadership, consistency, and strategic alignment with the company’s vision.

Job Description The Controller will step into a company where many processes have been built informally and carried out by a small number of people, including the owners themselves. A successful candidate will bring structure and accountability, while respecting the culture and pace of a transitioning organization. They will begin by focusing on stabilizing the essential financial processes that provide clarity to leadership and reduce dependency on any one individual.

Position Scope and Expectations This role requires someone who is present and visible within the organization and who understands the daily rhythm of a business where leadership decisions are made through direct conversations. The Controller will provide stability, initiate improvements, and help the company transition from owner-reliance to process-driven operations.

The Controller will oversee both the accounting and treasury functions, ensuring coordination, clarity, and accountability across these areas. This person will be responsible for leading and developing these teams, with the expectation of creating clear workflows, reliable processes, and a culture of ownership.

The current compensation package includes base salary and a performance-based bonus.
