Key Hyundai of Manchester Position Summary The Finance & Insurance Manager is responsible for presenting and selling finance, insurance, and extended service programs to customers purchasing vehicles. This role ensures every deal is handled with accuracy, transparency, and compliance while maximizing dealership profitability and maintaining a superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Present financing and insurance products in a professional and ethical manner while maintaining full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (TILA, ECOA, FCRA, OFAC, etc.).
Secure competitive financing through approved lenders and submit deals accurately through approved platforms.
Structure deals for maximum profit and lender approval while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Prepare, review, and verify all documentation including purchase contracts, loan applications, titling, and warranty paperwork.
Offer and explain products such as vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage, tire/wheel protection, prepaid maintenance, and other aftermarket products.
Maintain accurate CIT (Contracts in Transit) logs and ensure timely funding of all deals.
Reconcile chargebacks and maintain warranty remittance tracking.
Collaborate with the Sales Management team to achieve department sales and CSI goals.
Maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and lenders to ensure optimal approvals and rates.
Protect the dealership by ensuring all finance processes adhere to compliance standards, including proper menu presentation, adverse action letters, and secure handling of customer data.
Train and assist sales staff in understanding finance options and product benefits.
Monitor and report on department performance metrics including PVR, product penetration, and funding times.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of F&I or automotive finance experience required.
Proven record of high PVR and product penetration performance.
In-depth knowledge of lender requirements, credit structure, and compliance laws.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient with DMS and F&I systems (CDK, Reynolds, VinSolutions, RouteOne, Dealertrack).
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
