American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring ARRT and SCRQSA certifications and Siemens CT experience. Responsibilities
Work in a Level 1 trauma, magnet-designated teaching hospital CT Tech unit assignment with a variable daily caseload depending on shift and location 3x12 hour day shifts, Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with holiday rotation On-call rotation with staff is required Potential floating to sister facilities and within clinical scope based on facility needs Epic EMR system is used in the department Daily responsibilities may include trauma and routine CT imaging, supporting emergency and inpatient cases Teal top and black pants required as scrub attire All staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season from June through November First-time travelers accepted if they have previous relevant experience Locals may be accepted at a reduced rate and are subject to a 60-mile radius rule Returning staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Mandatory completion of pre-start online modules is required All requested time off must be submitted at time of application and is subject to approval Parking is available for a one-time fee of $20 for nights and weekends only Requirements
BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications required Minimum of 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required, 1 year experience preferred Experience with Siemens CT equipment required Radiation badge must be provided by the agency Drivers license and SSN required for consideration License required if applicable and must be in hand at time of start Epic EMR experience preferred Benefits
