Description We are immediately hiring a detail-oriented Administrative/Accounting Clerk to join our logistics client in Axtell, Texas. This is a Contract-to-permanent position with a focus on supporting administrative and accounting tasks for a trucking company. The ideal candidate will excel in managing invoicing and maintaining organized employee records while contributing to the overall efficiency of the office. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accurate financial records.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date employee folders and assist with HR-related administrative tasks.
- Manage office filing systems, ensuring all records are properly categorized and easily accessible.
- Compile and complete worksheets and application forms with precision.
- Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel to handle accounting and data entry tasks.
- Assist in organizing the office for optimal functionality and workflow.
- Process billing and invoicing while maintaining compliance with company policies.
- Support general administrative duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Strong experience with QuickBooks for accounting tasks.
- Demonstrated ability in data entry and invoice processing.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for creating and managing spreadsheets.
- Previous administrative assistance experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and external parties.
