Role Summary The Senior Account Executive leads enterprise-level sales engagements across automation, robotics, and supply chain technology. This individual will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through solution development, proposal, negotiation, and closing while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class automation solutions. The role requires strategic selling, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the logistics and fulfillment industry.

Key Responsibilities

Own and deliver revenue targets for assigned accounts or verticals, driving new business and expanding existing relationships.

Identify, qualify, and close opportunities for automation, software, and lifecycle support solutions.

Engage with senior decision-makers (Operations, Engineering, IT, Finance) to uncover business challenges and define tailored solutions.

Build and execute complex account strategies with a long-term partnership mindset.

Lead internal sales teams through opportunity development, value engineering, and proposal creation.

Develop and present high-impact proposals, ROI analyses, and executive-level presentations.

Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in warehouse automation and robotics.

Represent the business at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network within the sector.

Use CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecasting, and sales reporting.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

7+ years of experience in complex solution sales within automation, material handling, or supply chain technology.

Proven track record of closing seven-figure+ deals involving hardware, software, and services.

Strong executive presence with the ability to lead discussions with senior stakeholders and influence buying decisions.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and financial modeling skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead internal teams and manage multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

High proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.

Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or equivalent advanced degree.

Background in selling robotics, warehouse execution systems, or large-scale fulfillment center automation.

Experience selling to top-tier 3PLs, retailers, or e-commerce organizations.

Technical understanding of automated material handling systems and integration concepts.
