Job Description
Handle a caseload of personal injury and medical malpractice matters from intake through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery demands
Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials as needed
Develop litigation strategies and provide clients with regular updates
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers
Collaborate with colleagues in litigation and transactional practice groups to deliver comprehensive client service
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the New York State Bar
Minimum 5 years of experience in litigation, preferably in personal injury or medical malpractice
Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Client-focused, self-motivated, and detail-oriented professional
