Job Summary The Vice President of Sales is a key executive leader responsible for driving growth, profitability, and strategic market expansion across a multi‑state zone. This individual will oversee multiple Regional Managers and their respective teams, providing leadership, vision, and executional excellence to achieve Company sales objectives. The VP of Sales will leverage deep expertise in industrial water treatment, market dynamics, and client relationship management to shape business strategies, expand market share, and deliver long‑term value to customers and stakeholders.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Provide executive leadership, mentorship, and performance management for their direct reports and sales teams across the assigned zone.

Develop and implement strategic business and sales plans that align with Company-wide objectives, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue and profitability targets.

Partner with executive leadership to set zone-level budgets, forecasts, and performance benchmarks.

Oversee key strategic accounts and build executive‑level client relationships to strengthen long‑term partnerships and drive enterprise‑level opportunities.

Support corporate account strategy by aligning zone resources, ensuring delivery excellence, and maintaining strong executive relationships with national and global customers.

Analyze zone performance metrics, market trends, and competitive intelligence to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Technical Services to support client needs and improve overall customer experience.

Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment on facility and personnel needs to support the zone and enhance operational efficiency.

Lead regional sales planning, pipeline reviews, and strategic account planning sessions to ensure alignment and accountability across all markets in the zone.

Partner with Corporate Development and executive leadership to support M&A activities, including due diligence, integration planning, and aligning acquired sales teams with Company objectives.

Champion the development and career growth of the zone teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Proactively identify and attract top talent to strengthen the team, partnering with Human Resources and the recruiting team to ensure a robust leadership and sales talent pipeline.

Represent the Company at industry events, conferences, and key customer engagements as an executive ambassador.

Ensure adherence to Company policies, procedures, safety standards, and ethical practices within all teams and regions.

Prepare and deliver executive‑level reports and presentations on zone performance, financial outcomes, and market insights to executive leadership.

Manage zone‑level P&L, ensuring effective control of expenses and resources to maximize profitability.

Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business Administration or related field or a combination of education and relevant work experience.

Ten (10) years of progressive experience in industrial water treatment technical sales/service.

Five (5) years in a senior leadership role managing multi-region sales teams or related.

Strong technical knowledge of water treatment applications including cooling tower systems, steam generation, and closed‑loop systems.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and profitability targets across broad geographic markets.

Strong leadership, business acumen, and strategic planning skills.

Demonstrated success in developing and leading high‑performing teams at scale.

Superior communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities with internal teams, executive clients, and industry stakeholders.

Ability to analyze complex market dynamics and translate insights into actionable growth strategies.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems, with aptitude for data‑driven decision‑making.

Willingness to travel extensively within the zone and nationally, as required.

Valid driver's license and compliance with Company standards for vehicle operation.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration or related field.

Ten (10) plus years of progressive experience in industrial water treatment technical sales/service.

Five (5) plus years in a senior leadership role managing multi-region sales teams or related.
