Position Summary As a Data Analyst within the Transmission Program Management Office (TPMO) team at Oncor, you’ll provide both broad and detailed data analysis to multiple departments within our organization to support business process and decision making. This role assists with developing and maintaining tactical and performance-based dashboards for various stakeholders and supports the PMO through process improvement initiatives, recurring reporting, and ad‑hoc analysis. The TPMO is responsible for project coordination, scheduling, resourcing oversight, budget forecasting, information streamlining, and internal/external reporting, as well as strategic long‑range planning, monitoring, and risk/issue management of the Transmission portfolio of capital projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in building and generating reporting and dashboards to support the PMO and ensure successful execution of the capital plan.
Seek opportunities to turn complex data into clear, impactful insights using data visualization tools and present findings to leadership.
Work directly with business partners to improve processes and resolve operational challenges through requirements gathering and solutioning.
Perform frequent ad‑hoc data mining, reporting, and generation of decision support data and presentations.
Perform all essential functions and aspects of the job, including any other specific job requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Skill Requirements
Ability to write new and understand existing SQL queries across various systems.
Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Experience with data cleansing and data visualization; proficiency in Tableau.
A self‑starter capable of solving problems through stakeholder collaboration and critical thinking.
Education & Experience
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant work‑related experience is required.
Will consider applicants with a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or Project Management, plus 1+ years of relevant experience in lieu of the above criteria.
Applicants with data analytics related certifications are encouraged to apply.

Ability to handle and provide timely progress reports on multiple concurrent projects with ease.
