Overview The Financial Services – Customer Tax Operations and Reporting team at EY seeks a Tax Services Analyst to support the preparation and delivery of tax information reporting (1099/1042‑S/8804), FATCA/CRS reporting, and tax withholding certificate validation for banks, wealth and asset management firms, and insurance companies.

Your Key Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver tax information reports in a volume‑driven, deadline‑driven environment.

Validate tax withholding certificates (Forms W‑8/W‑9) and reconcile reporting discrepancies.

Assist with FATCA/CRS reporting and related reconciliations.

Maintain accurate client documentation and coordinate with client tax liaisons and internal teams.

Support billing and collections for tax compliance services.

Communicate status updates and issue resolutions to supervisors and stakeholders.

Skills & Attributes for Success

Timely, accurate support of information reporting within client and regulatory deadlines.

Management of multiple projects and engagement teams concurrently.

Strong understanding of tax withholding certificates and FATCA/CRS self‑certification forms.

Analytical skills to detect and correct errors in tax reporting coding.

Ability to use tax software, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools.

Excellent communication with client tax liaisons and internal teams.

Proficiency in supporting billing and collections for tax compliance.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.

1–2 years of experience in tax compliance or information reporting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of 1099/1042‑S reporting systems and tax compliance rules.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team on complex projects.

Strong organizational and written communication skills.

Commitment to periodic travel (5%–10%).

Preferred Experience

Professional services background.

Experience with information reporting and withholding tax laws.

Familiarity with FATCA/CRS reporting templates.

Analytical and detail‑oriented mindset.

Proficiency with tax‑software platforms.

Compensation Base salary range: $58,300 to $96,400 (nationwide). Additional compensation and benefits include medical, dental, pension, 401(k), paid time off, and flexible work model.
