Microcomputer/Network Technician 1/2 (PCN 04‑7203) State of Alaska, Department of Revenue – Administrative Services Division

Overview Support IT operations for the Department of Revenue, providing technical assistance, deploying Windows devices, and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities

Provide hands‑on technical support using the Service Desk ticketing system.

Prepare, image, and deploy Windows devices and peripherals.

Maintain accurate documentation in ticketing and inventory systems.

Collaborate with Service Desk technicians and the Network Specialist Supervisor.

Participate in training to progress from Technician 1 to Technician 2.

Qualifications

Experience troubleshooting workstation, printer, and account issues.

Knowledge of Windows deployment and asset tracking.

Strong documentation and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Customer‑service focus and technical competence in networking.
