Our client is a global technology infrastructure company building and operating advanced computing systems for some of the world’s leading AI and enterprise clients. With rapid international expansion and partnerships spanning technology, data, and government sectors, the business is scaling its legal capability to support its ambitious growth plans.
The Role We are hiring a Legal Counsel to take a lead role in supporting the company’s global data centre and real estate operations. This position will oversee the legal aspects of site development, leasing, and commercial partnerships, working closely with internal teams, external counsel, and senior management.
The successful candidate will have a strong grounding in real estate or infrastructure projects, ideally within a technology or data-driven environment, and will be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growth‑stage company.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all legal aspects of data centre development and related real estate transactions.
Negotiate with developers, landlords, and partners, managing leases and commercial agreements.
Partner with site selection and operations teams to support project execution.
Advise on legal and regulatory matters relating to property, construction, and technology infrastructure.
Coordinate with external counsel and senior management to ensure alignment and compliance.
What We’re Looking For
Qualified attorney (US jurisdiction)
A track record of working on data centres.
Proven ability to lead negotiations and manage complex transactions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Commercially minded, adaptable, and proactive, with strong organisational skills.
Package
$180K - $230K (DOE) + equity
Retirement or pension plan, in line with local norms.
