Volunteers of America Colorado is a nonprofit, faith‑based organization dedicated to helping those in need transform their lives. Through more than 50 human service programs, VOA changes the lives of over 140,000 vulnerable Coloradoans each year. VOA provides housing and emergency shelters, hunger and nutrition services, and many other community support programs. Program Manager Responsibilities
Oversee facility operations and maintain a safe, clean, professional, and welcoming environment.
Lead program development for families, ensuring high‑quality, holistic, trauma‑informed services.
Coordinate with staff to deliver support services for participants experiencing homelessness.
Plan and host special events that promote community engagement and connect families to resources.
Maintain accurate client records and conduct timely data entry in organizational systems.
Supervise the Resource Coordinator and on‑site volunteers.
Serve as a resource hub for VOA Colorado Programs and stay current on family needs and community resources.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in human services.
One year of direct human service or customer service experience.
Will willingness to obtain first aid, AED, and CPR certifications and keep them current.
Criminal and civil background checks within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with under‑resourced families, managing family/youth programs, and case management.
Administrative experience and/or milieu management.
Crisis intervention skills.
Bilingual – English and Spanish.

Outcomes
Engage and manage 20 internal and external partnerships to support family needs.
Prevent 200 households from eviction by 6/30/26.
Enroll 200 families in DHS benefits by 6/30/26.
Serve 100 families through parent education by 6/30/26.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Supervise the milieu and respond to emergencies.
Lift up to 50 lbs. 10–15 times per day.
Stand and walk for the majority of the day as needed.
Position Type and Working Hours
Full‑time, Salary. Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with an hour lunch. Hours may vary to fulfill program objectives.
