An individual contributor IT Vendor Manager responsible for managing vendor relationships, providing visibility on vendor performance, establishing governance structures, and driving forums to ensure seamless vendor partnerships. The role focuses on delivering value, fostering innovation, mitigating risks, and achieving exceptional technology outcomes in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, handles heavy workloads, and collaborates positively across cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strategic vendor relationships, ensuring effective communication, goal alignment, and managing escalation and governance cadences. Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, manage SLAs, scorecards, CSAT assessments, oversee RAID logs, and resolve disputes. Participate in contract negotiations, due diligence, change order oversight, and ensure contract compliance and certification processes. Oversee financial forecasting, credit tracking, invoice audits, budgeting, and ARC/RRC monthly audit approvals. Manage vendor onboarding/offboarding processes, establish governance model guidelines, develop SLAs, set up collaboration tools, and support transition plans. Assist with ad‑hoc vendor management needs and contribute to IT Vendor Management roadmap projects. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or a related role. Strong understanding of IT vendor management principles and best practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with heavy workloads. Positive team player who fosters collaboration and a supportive work environment. Preferred Qualifications
Vendor Management or related certifications. Experience with vendor segmentation, dashboards, Azure DevOps, and Ariba. Knowledge of contract lifecycle management and SLA management. Desired Attributes

Base salary ranges by office location: Chicago, IL, Downers Grove, IL, Minneapolis, MN, Cleveland, OH, Baltimore, MD: $104,000 – $156,000 per year. Boston, MA; New York, NY; Iselin, NJ; Hartford, CT: $112,320 – $168,480 per year. Benefits
