Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, IoT Core, API Gateway, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Work within agile teams using Jira, Bitbucket, and other Atlassian tools.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across the full stack.
Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to architect and build cloud-native systems.
Research, recommend, and implement optimizations of existing code repositories.
Participate in sprint planning sessions, daily standups, demo days, and sprint reviews.
Continue to learn and grow professionally as a cloud native engineer as new cloud services and solutions come to the market.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for new features and infrastructure, including Data Flow Diagrams, Concepts of Operation, and Sequence Diagrams.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant degree fields. Masters degree preferred.
4-5 years of cloud native application development experience.
3+ years of experience working as a Cloud Engineer, preferably on AWS.
Strong knowledge of AWS services and CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in Node.js and experience with Python and/or Java.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, or SAM).
Understanding of the mobile app release process and best practices.
2 years of experience in ALM (Application Life Cycle Management) framework such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft tools.
Experience with version control like GitHub, GitLab.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in agile, collaborative environments.
Preferred
AWS Certification (Developer, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
Experience building and optimizing ETL workflows using AWS Glue and querying large datasets efficiently with Amazon Athena.

Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 per year
