Systems Analyst III (Hybrid) Primary Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Top Required Skills (Minimum 8 Years of Experience) Advanced Business & Technical Analysis: Business process documentation, process design, requirements gathering, and functional design. Advanced Quality Assurance & Software Testing Methodologies. Project Management Knowledge: Principles, methods, and practices. Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with various stakeholders, including executives. Highly Self-Motivated & Detail-Oriented: Capable of prioritizing and executing multiple tasks efficiently.
What You’ll Do Job Responsibilities Create documentation for process and system changes, including operational manuals and user guides. Develop detailed technical specifications and functional designs based on business requirements. Coordinate with business program specialists and technical teams to revise, develop, and implement process descriptions and programming specifications. Lead and participate in cross-functional teams representing business needs to technical staff and explaining technology capabilities to business stakeholders. Facilitate discussions to clarify business rules, define system outputs, and design business and technology system processes. Manage and track issues through DFI’s help desk, bug-tracking, and IT request systems; investigate, analyze, and design solutions for system problems. Analyze and document business rules, requirements, and system operations and procedures. Review existing and proposed rules, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and recommend adjustments where needed.
Quality Assurance & Testing Plan, coordinate, and execute quality assurance (QA) and reliability testing for business systems and processes. Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and plans, record and track test progress and results. Follow software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and QA best practices. Identify, analyze, and resolve software issues, bugs, and recurring defects, recommending appropriate solutions. Define and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT); document results and provide detailed feedback to business and technical teams. Ensure data integrity and system reliability across all projects.
