About The Role The AM Kitchen Manager (Cook) plays a key leadership role in our back-of-house operations during morning and early-day shifts. This position combines cooking responsibilities with management oversight, ensuring prep, quality, and workflow are efficient and consistent. The AM Kitchen Manager supports the team in maintaining high culinary standards while helping organize inventory, monitor food costs, and keep the kitchen clean, safe, and organized.
What You’ll Do
Manage morning kitchen operations, including opening procedures and prep station organization
Prepare and cook menu items according to LoLa 41’s standards
Lead and support BOH team members during morning shifts
Ensure all ingredients are properly labeled, stored, and rotated to maintain freshness
Oversee inventory, assist with ordering, and help manage food costs
Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards
Support a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment
Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive kitchen culture
Requirements
Previous kitchen management or lead cook experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to work mornings consistently, including weekends
Flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability and stamina to lift and carry heavy items routinely
Commitment to working 5–6 days per week
