$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr A prestigious law firm in Lansing, Michigan, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its commercial litigation team. This is a confidential search conducted by a leading legal recruiting agency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record supporting attorneys in complex commercial litigation matters and thrive in a collaborative, high-performance environment. Responsibilities

Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and trial exhibits. Manage all phases of the litigation process, including document collection, review, production, and e-discovery. Conduct legal and factual research, summarize findings, and assist with case strategy. Prepare for and support depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials. Maintain and organize case files, calendars, and deadlines using litigation support software. Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and third parties to ensure timely case progression. Ensure compliance with federal and state court filing requirements, including e-filing. Uphold strict confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions. Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on commercial litigation (insurance defense or plaintiff-only backgrounds will not be considered). Proficiency with litigation technology platforms (e.g., Relativity, DISCO, Odyssey e-file, PACER). Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment. Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred. Additional Information

Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours a year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
