Constellis . **Position Summary** The Operator (Level 1) is a Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), alarm monitoring, and dispatch professional. The Operator will monitor multiple screens observing cameras, monitor access control, gather information, analyze data, and provide input to their Supervisor. The Operator must recognize activity patterns and coordinate or dispatch security measures and response teams. Maintaining daily logs of activities from security cameras and teams is essential. **Pay Transparency/Compensation** $33.57 per hour **Responsibilities** Work rotating shifts to ensure 24/7 SOC coverage. Ensure rapid dispatch of security personnel for quick response to incidents. Administer VSS and alarm monitoring/access control software in coordination with SOC team. Develop and update SOC SOPs, processes, and systems for video monitoring and incident management. Communicate clearly in stressful situations. Produce activity and incident reports for supervisors and leadership. Create BOLO flyers for individuals posing threats. Assist with access control procedures and investigations. Recognize activity patterns and coordinate responses. Monitor cameras and identify suspicious activity. Use multiple sources to analyze risks and threats. Utilize various security software and visualization tools daily. Maintain logs of shift activities and notifications. Provide concise information to security responders. Understand and operate all security hardware and software, including radio and notification platforms. Take responsibility for assigned tasks and provide support as needed. **Qualifications** High School diploma or equivalent; foreign education evaluated for U.S. standards. Minimum of 2 years in a security or dispatch center. Proficient in English communication, both written and oral. Effective communicator in stressful situations. Proficient in MS Office; SharePoint experience is a plus. Ability to handle confidential information. **Preferred Qualifications** Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Security Studies, Law Enforcement, or related fields. Familiarity with security management systems like Intellicene, Lenel, or Genetec. Radio transmission experience. **Physical Requirements** Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force, with good visual and audio acuity. Must meet physical and psychological standards, with possible local travel and shift work.
