Dental Office Front Desk Representative (Business Assistant) at

Heartland Dental . Location: Metro Dentalcare in St. Louis Park, MN. This role supports the front office and patient care operations to provide exceptional service. Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients as they enter the office to create a positive first impression of the team Manage front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, and communicating with patients and insurance companies Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and records Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers in the office File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits and explanation of coverage Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivable Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients Partner with the providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential What You’ll Gain

Metro Dentalcare St. Louis Park is part of Heartland Dental-supported offices and serves the local community. Join a team that values collaboration and communication. 18-person team that thrives on collaboration Pay range: $18.00–$25.75/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday Minimum Qualifications

Experience in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Access to the minimum PHI necessary for job duties; regular HIPAA training is required; ability to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Experience

1+ years in a dental or medical setting 1+ years of insurance billing and accounts receivable Dentrix or other dental software experience Physical Requirements

Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds Availability for virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions and will be arranged during the pre-employment process; not applicable in FL & TN About Heartland Dental
