Responsibilities

Open and close the store, supervise associates, and maintain a friendly, easy‑to‑shop environment.

Ensure proper merchandise presentation, keep work areas clean and organized, and execute company operational processes.

Maintain safe and secure environments: practice safe behaviors, monitor the sales floor, secure building, test fire alarms, and respond to alarms.

Deliver excellent customer service: treat all customers and associates with respect, demonstrate courtesy and professionalism, and recognize associates.

Represent and support the company brand: maintain a professional appearance, enforce dress code, keep all store areas clean and merchandised to standard.

Perform general merchandising: recover, size and markdown, receive merchandise, process inbound deliveries, keep stockrooms organized, and respond to floor moves and promotions.

Prevent loss: apply loss prevention awareness, protect confidential information, conduct code package inspections, and maximize productivity.

Supervise front end and operations: train associates, manage line and time, conduct cash procedures, maintain equipment, and ensure go‑backs and “scan‑and‑bag” best practice.

Maintain fitting rooms: clean, audit tags, ensure compliance and proper tagging of returns.

Perform administrative duties: cash pulls, bank deposits, payroll administration, scheduling compliance, and other tasks assigned by the store manager.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Fluency in English.

Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.

Familiarity with point‑of‑sale equipment and applications.

Basic mathematical calculation skills.

Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements/Ada: ability to use all store equipment, stand up to 100%, perform regular bending, squatting, kneeling, carrying, pushing, pulling, lifting more than 25 lbs, and use janitorial equipment. Certain shifts >20 lbs.

Ross is an equal employment opportunity employer. The base pay range for this role is $18.00‑$18.50 per hour, dependent on experience, skills, and location. Other rewards vary by position and location.
