Summary The Analyst – LA Warehouse (Air Logistics) oversees inbound and outbound air freight forwarding operations for the West Coast SCM team, focusing on customer service and monitoring shipment activity.
Responsibilities
General 3PL Operations (Inbound, Outbound, Inland, and Warehouse/Distribution)
Provide inbound/outbound operation services
Monitor air import/export schedules, services, and update vendors of any documentation issues
Manage/control operations, customs, and truckers to minimize unnecessary costs
Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation (HAWB, MAWB, AES, Manifest, Shipping Instructions, Haz Cargo Decl., Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, etc.)
Liaise with customers, suppliers, air carriers, and inland transport carriers to ensure premium customer service
Label airline-required stickers and documents on outside of cargo
Update Genisys and all related systems on air shipment history
Provide status updates for customers daily and weekly
Ensure all charges are billed correctly
Daily monitoring of urgent shipment moves
Monitor inbound shipments for timely release and provide status updates
Manage inbound/outbound shipments from cargo pickup to delivery in the U.S./overseas
Coordinate cargo quantity, damages, accuracy, and banding/wrapping as needed
Other duties as assigned
Compensation $52,000 – $56,000 annually (subject to compensation study upon candidate selection)

3–5 years related experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, SCM (Preferred)
