Production Supervisor, Taylor Entrance Systems
is responsible for managing tasks for the entire production process and ensuring efficiency throughout the lines. The supervisor must be aware of safety, quality, and production goals, anticipate problems that could impact long-term goals, and maintain positive relations with all internal levels of the organization. Duties To Include
Train and support the assembly & finishing teams on the proper use of safety equipment and procedures as set forth by the Company Ensure employees follow proper procedures, processes and company policies Provide recommendations related to hiring, firing, advancement or changes in employee status Handle all employment responsibilities for staff; timecards, vacation scheduling, performance reviews, coaching and discipline Supervise day-to-day logistical and functional operations Serve as a resource to team members with knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice Encourage team effort and ESOP ownership attitudes among employees Ensure employees achieve daily targets and production outputs Drop orders to the production floor as needed Ensure production status is communicated and aligned with work planning Visually inspect assembly processes to maintain quality control Plan and schedule workflow for each operation according to sequences and lead times Monitor, analyze and report production performance Analyze maintenance/repair requests for validity and scope Monitor quality, service and delivery issues and take corrective actions Maintain shop cleanliness and implement 5S Participate in SOP development and execution Interact positively with vendors and customers as required Qualifications
High school diploma and 5 years leadership-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Working Demands / Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds with assistance on production floor Work schedule consists of anticipated 12-hour daily shift Reports To
