What You Will Do
Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products with sound professional judgment and in a timely manner.
Provide tax advice, full‑service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries.
Maintain sensitive customer, confidential and/or proprietary business information responsibly.
Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver correct answers in everyday language.
Interact with customers and team members in a professional manner while upholding Intuit’s operating values, including integrity without compromise.
Document interactions accurately to maintain records.
What You Need
Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws (3+ years of recent experience preparing 1065 and/or 1120‑S returns for at least 20 clients per season).
Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience (30+ returns per year preferred).
Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
Bookkeeping experience that ties books to tax preparation is preferred.
Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers is preferred.
Ability to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
Commitment to a minimum schedule of 20 hours per week (four‑hour shift increments).
Working knowledge of Circular 230.
Proficiency with technology and solid computer operations knowledge.
Strong customer service skills, able to interact professionally via video and audio tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Critical thinking, problem‑solving, research skills, and determination.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
Reliable internet connection meeting Intuit Security criteria.
Compensation Base pay varies by location:
Bay Area, CA: $40.10 - $46.20/hr
Southern CA: $40.10 - $46.20/hr
Colorado: $38.20 - $43.90/hr
Hawaii: $40.10 - $46.20/hr
Illinois: $38.20 - $43.90/hr
Maryland: $38.20 - $43.90/hr
Massachusetts: $40.10 - $46.20/hr
Minnesota: $34.40 - $39.56/hr
New Jersey: $40.10 - $46.20/hr
New York: $40.10 - $46.20/hr
Ohio: $34.40 - $39.56/hr
Vermont: $38.20 - $43.90/hr
Washington: $40.10 - $46.20/hr
Washington DC: $38.20 - $43.90/hr
This position is eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with Intuit’s plans and programs.
