What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Provide individual, group, family, and other practical counseling to meet client needs and treatment goals
Complete intake, screening, and comprehensive assessments within designated timeframes
Develop and document treatment plans that are individualized based on assessment information
Participate in clinical staffing and treatment meetings, providing feedback on cases
Handle crisis situations and coordinate emergency services as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
Licensure as a professional counselor or social worker in the applicable state
Willingness to obtain additional state licensure as needed
Experience with telehealth services, with training provided
Expertise in diagnostic criteria for mental health and substance use disorders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in caseload management and rehabilitation methods related to mental health and substance use disorder treatment
Knowledge of legal requirements and court procedures related to mental health treatment
Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting
Ability to establish effective relationships through various communication methods
Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health care
